Your driver and guide, Wayan, meets you right outside the international or domestic arrival hall at Ngurah Rai International Airport. Look for a paging board with your name. Once your luggage is loaded into the air-conditioned car, you leave the coastal airport area behind and head north toward the cultural heartland of Gianyar Regency.
Rather than sitting in standard airport transfer traffic, this journey turns transit into your first introduction to Bali. Along the road to Ubud, you pull into Batuan village to visit Pura Puseh Batuan, a village temple founded in the eleventh century. Wayan provides your sarong and sash at the entrance, walks you through the split stone gateway (candi bentar), and explains the layout of Balinese shrines, carved sandstone reliefs, and daily offerings.
After a quiet walk through the temple grounds, you return to the car for the remaining drive through the woodcarving and stone-sculpture hamlets of Sukawati and Lodtunduh. The tour concludes with direct drop-off at your hotel, resort, or private villa within the Ubud center area.
Ngurah Rai International Airport arrival terminal exit, past customs and luggage collection.
Wayan and The team arranged everything so well and made us feel very comfortable throughout the journey. He always will send quick response and clear doubts.
