Wayan meets you at Sanur Harbour before the queues build and gets you on the 08:00 fast boat — forty minutes across to Nusa Penida.
On the island you take the west coast circuit: Kelingking Beach viewpoint, Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, timed against the tide so you are not standing in a crowd at every stop. Lunch is at a cliffside warung with a proper view.
In the afternoon you snorkel at Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay. Wayan carries masks in every size and reef-safe sunscreen, and he will tell you honestly if the current is wrong for a stop that day and take you somewhere better instead.

Wayan changed the snorkel stop because the current was strong at Crystal Bay, and the alternative was better anyway. That kind of judgement is what you are paying for.
Long day and the boat crossing is bumpy, but Kelingking is worth it. Bring seasickness tablets.
